OCAF is located at 34 School Street in Historic Watkinsville Georgia.
The Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation (OCAF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity that is not supported by tax dollars of any kind. All of our programs are open to the public regardless of what county they live in. OCAF members receive valuable discounts on classes, workshops and special events. Although membership is suggested it is not required.

March 16 & 17, 2012
CALL FOR DONATIONS! OCAF THRIFT SALE is seeking new or used items for its annual Thrift Sale, March 16-17th. Please donate your surplus usable furniture, toys, clothing, books, tools, hardware, electronics, small appliances, vehicles, lawn & garden supplies, antiques, exercise equipment, etc... Proceeds will benefit art & art education at OCAF.
Drop off times: Mon & Thurs. 10AM to 2 PM, Wed 5 PM – 7 PM, first & third Saturday to Rocket Hall, 34 School Street, Watkinsville. To schedule a pickup of larger items call 706-769-4565.

Writing for Money: The Art of Freelance Nonfiction Journalism
Instructor: Dr. Wally Eberhard
Dates: Tuesdays, January 10 to February 14, 2012. Times: 6 PM – 8 PM Fees: $65 OCAF members, $75 non-members
Class Description:
This class is designed to teach you the basics of nonfiction journalism. This includes such writing forms as feature stories, magazine articles, opinion pieces and book reviews. You'll be given writing assignments to prepare and discuss with your classmates.
Location: 1902 OCAF Center, Conference Room

Open studio fee: $50 per month, or $5 per day pay as you go.
Clay cost: $30/25 lb. bag, includes bisque firing, glazing and firing.

Open studio time is available for people 16 or older who have previously taken OCAF ceramics classes or have previous experience working in another ceramics studio. Clay used in the studio must be purchased from OCAF. Open Studio time determined by monthly need.
